Kushan-era Coins & Pottery Found in Raipur

Raipur finds a place in the archaeological map of India with the finding of one Kushan era coin and pottery which is estimated to be 2000 years old. The presence of high historical evidence near the riverbanks through excavations has been able to support the possibility of ancient settlement in Raipur. The Department of Culture & Archaeology has written requesting that activities that continue building the site should cease and safeguard the site.
