Raigarh Becomes First District to Start Ready-to-Eat Production

Chhattisgarh has already rung in a new milestone with CM Vishnudev Sai ensuring that Raigarh became the first district in the state to start manufacturing Ready-to-Eat (RTE) healthy food. The initiative has both met the vision of PM Modi of empowering women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and nutritional security. Raigarh has distributed the RTE units to 10 SHGs beginning with Kotarlia. The plan will provide Anganwadi centers with nutritious foods. Quality, Women empowerment, and employment of local people were the aspects the government focussed on through this model.
